Have you ever dreamed of exploring New England in October during the peak of the fall foliage? Perhaps you've always wanted to take your kids to Maine's best-kept-secret family beach where sand castles are built with the softest whitest sand. With this adventure, your dreams will come true!
Indulge in a get-away week at the King Fredel's six acre, fifth-generation family compound in Goose Rocks Beach. Nestled just ten minutes outside the village of Kennebunkport, Maine, this four bedroom, one and a half bath, two story rugged elegant cottage called Kingpin is your ticket to recreation. The cottage sleeps eight (one king, one queen, one double and two twins). It is equipped with great books, two hammocks, a canoe, a swing, and bikes. Your canoe ride down the river that takes you to the ocean begins at the edge of the property.
If you're looking for a fabulous golf course, we recommend the Cape Arundel. If a two hour sail along the coast suits your fancy, "Eleanor" is the schooner of choice. And if you decide not to bring home lobsters for a clambake on the beach, Nunan's Famous Lobster Hut, where two Maine lobsters are served along with Bertha's famous blueberry pie for dessert, is your ticket to the best down home cooking in Southern Maine. Donors, Timothy Fredel and Jennifer King look forward to giving you all the direction you need to make your fall foliage get-away one that you and your family will remember, forever.
